Configure your web server with PHP:
First of all, you have to configure
your webserver with PHP, e.g. Apache and database e.g. MySQL or
PostgreSQL, for offline, e.g. on local host XAMPP or WAMP or LAMP
servers.
Create data directory for Moodle LMS
files and Moodle data:
After that, you have to create a
directory for Moodle files in the PHP-configured server and create
one more Moodle data directory outside the server e.g.,
xampp/moodledata directory.
Create one empty database:
In next step, you have to create a new
empty database by using your database server like MySQL DB. Ensure to
make default encoding UTF8. For example:
Using MySQL: CREATE DATABASE
LMS_DB_NAME DEFAULT CHARACTER SET UTF8 COLLATE utf8_unicode_ci;
Now, you have to create a user/password
combination with appropriate permissions for Your LMS DB. For
example:
(MySQL again): mysql>GRANT
SELECT,INSERT, CREATE, UPDATE , DELETE,CREATE TEMPORARY
TABLES,DROP,INDEX,ALTER ON YOUR LMS DB.* TO moodleuser@localhost
IDENTIFIED BY ‘yourpassword’;

Download Moodle:
Furthermore, you have to download
Moodle from moodle.org and unzip the downloaded file and copy the
Moodle LMS files to your configured server. You have to move
/xampp/htdocs/ Your LMS Directory on Xampp.
Now, you have to check all the
permissions and ensure that the web server permits to write on the
chosen files in the Moodle LMS directories. Moreover, you also have
to access the Moodle LMS files from the web server. For offline
(http://localhost/Your LMS files directory). OR For online
(http://www.yourdomain.com/ YourLMS files directory).
Install:
Once you have access the LMS files
then,
You have to choose a language first
